Biddeford-Saco Journal, Tuesday, October 25, 1960 New Hampshire Company Gets Airport Work Another step toward realization of a reactivated, air port for the city of Biddeford was taken last evening when special meeting of the city coun-! cil placed its stamp of approval on the bid- of Arthur Whitcomb Construction company of Keene, N. for grading and paving work. The full council was present for the meeting and with all but one voting on the proposal, okayed the bid of $74,545.83. It now goes before the Federal Aviation then contracts signed and Agency for its formal, approval work will begin immediately. City officials hope that most of the grading work will pleted this fall with the final tons.
