Junkins, 88, formerly of 9 Frye died Thursday evening at the Coastal Manor Nursing Home, Yarmouth, after a short illness. She was born in Somerville, Nov. 27, 1892, daughter of George H. and Antoinette Fleer Junkins, and attended school in East Lebanon.

She was a graduate of Portland Business College. Miss Junkins taught school for several years. She later was a certified public accountant with Jordan and Jordan Auditors, retiring 20 years ago. She was a member of the First Baptist Church for many years, former member of the Portland Altrusa Club. and the Portland Business and Professional Women's Club.

Survivors are a nephew, Avery Junkins of Sanford; and a niece, Edna Wood of East Lebanon. Services were held Sunday afternoon at Hay and Peabody Funeral Home, 749 Congress with the Rev. Jack Christensen officiating. Interment will be in the spring at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, North Berwick. Marion Kneeland KENNEBUNK Marion F.

Kneeland, 84, of 70 Fletcher formerly of Lewiston, died Saturday at the Good Shepherd Villa nursing home, Biddeford, after a long illness. She was born in Lewiston, April 25, 1896, daughter of Walter C. and Minnie Garner Fogg, and attended Lewiston and Portland schools. She was a graduate of Bates College, class of 1918. Mrs.

Kneeland taught at Bath High School. She was active in the Red Cross program in the Lewiston area for. many years and was active at Trinity Episcopal Church of Lewiston. She became a member of St. David Episcopal Church when she moved to Kennebunk 14 years ago.

Survivors are, her husband of 61 years, Dexter R. Kneeland of Kennebunk; two sons, John F. Kneeland of Kennebunk and Allen G. Kneeland of Barrington, R.I.; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Services were held this morning at Bibber Memorial Chapel, 67 Summer with the Rev.

Clifford Geiger officiating. Interment was in Riverside Cemetery, Lewiston. Rufus Doe BIDDEFORD Rufus L. Doe, 90, formerly of South Street, Saco, died Sunday at the Trull Nursing Home after a brief illness. He was born in Saco, Aug.

17, 1889, son of Loring and Frances Adams Doe, and was a graduate of the former Saco Commercial School. Doe was postmaster in Saco for two years during the middle 1920s, and was employed as a teller at the former York National Bank, now the Canal National He was a member and past master of Saco Masonic Lodge, a charter member of the Order of Eastern Star of Saco, and was a life member of the chapter and St. Amand Commandary of Kennebunk. Surviving are a sister, Helen Nutter of Saco; and two nieces. Services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m.

at the Dennett and Craig Funeral Home, 365 Main Saco. The Rev. Robert De Wolf, vicar of Trinity Episcopal Church, will officiate. Interment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Saco. Calling hours will be held tonight, from 7 to 9, at the funeral home.

Hazel Bishop SACO Hazel P. Bishop, 83, formerly of 45 Middle died Saturday, at the Maine Medical Center, Portland, following illness. She was born in Littleton. N.H.. March 15.

1897. daughter of Sumner and Myra Streeter Elliot, and was educated there. Mrs. Bishop was a member of First Parish Congregational Church and its Fellowship, the the Order of the Eastern Star, the and I Union of Saco and the Extension of Ocean Park. Surviving are a son, Ralph C.

Lamb of Saco; four daughters, Mrs. Donald (Jacqueline) Coburn of Sebago Lake, Mrs. Alan (Marion) Coker Old Orchard Beach, Mrs. William (Patricia Shumway of Tilton, N.H., and Mrs. Carleton (Barbara) Goodchild of Newtonville, 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and several nephews and nieces.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the First Parish Congregational Church with the Rev. Robert Baggs officiating. Interment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Calling hours will be held, tonight, from 7 to 9, at the Shumway-Gross Funeral Home, 35 Spring St.

Dana Johnson OGUNQUIT Dana F. Johnson, 25, of 24 Highland died Saturday in Boston, after a vehicle-pedestrian accident. He was born in York, Nov. 3, 1955, son of Albert M. and Elsie Orcutt Johnson, and attended Wells schools.

Survivors are his parents of Ogunquit; a brother, the Rev. Albert M. Johnson Jr. of York; and two nephews. Services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m.

Beech Assembly of God Church, York. The Rev. Stanley Stevens of Cape Neddick will officiate. Spring interment will be in Ocean View Cemetery, Wells. Calling hours will be held Tuesday, from 7 to 9 p.m., at the Lucas and Eaton Funeral Home, York.

Publication promised. MC SPRINGVALE Bertha Rue Bradford, 83, of 8 Kirk died Saturday at the Hillcrest Manor Nursing Home, Sanford. She was born on Peaks Island, March 4, 1897, daughter of Wesley and Annie Totman Scott. Mrs. Bradford had lived in Springvale most of her life.

She was a member of the Pleasant Street Free Baptist Church and was active in the church throughout her life. She taught Sunday school for many years and was a member and past president of the King's Daughters and Gleaners. Surviving are her husband, Lester L. Bradford of Springvale; a daughter, Apphia M. Ricker of Springvale; two brothers, Ansel Sterling and George Sterling, both of Peaks Island; a sister, Emily Sterling of Springvale; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be private, at the convenience of the family, at the Heald Funeral Home, 61 Main St. Interment will be in the spring at Riverside Cemetery. Alexis Gagne BIDDEFORD. Alexis Gagne, 75, of 14 Pool died Sunday at his home following a long illness. He was born in St.

Lambert, Sept. 27, 1905, son of Joseph and Marie Jolicoeur Gagne. Gagne came to the United States while in his teens and was employed at Saco-Lowell Shops and Maremont Saco, for more than 45 years. He was a communicant of St. Joseph Church.

He is survived by his wife, Eva Gagnon Gagne of Biddeford; and a brother, Nazaire Gagne of Saskatchewan. A funeral mass will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Church. Interment will be in St.

Joseph Cemetery. Calling hours will be held at the Emond and Conroy Funeral Home, 72 Hill today and Tuesday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Anthony LaPointe BIDDEFORD Anthony Joseph LaPointe, 11-hour-old son of Donald and Sharon Giaimo La Pointe of 23 Middle died Saturday morning at Maine Medical Center, He was born Friday evening, Jan. 9, at Webber Hospital. Surviving besides his parents are a sister, Crystal LaPointe of Biddeford; paternal grandparents, Mr.

and Louis LaPointe of Caribou; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Frank (Doris) Ricciuti of Old Orchard Beach. A spring burial service will be held at St. Mary Cemetery. The Emond and Conroy Funeral Home, 72 Hill is in charge of arrangements.

Joseph Harding ROCHESTER, N.H. Joseph Harold Harding, 88, of 7 Villanova Lane, died Tuesday at his home following a long illness. He was born in New Durham, April 8, 1892, son of Joseph D. and Ida Pearl Harding, and attended school in New Durham and Farmington. He also attended McIntosh Business College, Dover.

Harding resided in Farmington before moving to Rochester in the summer of 1979. He was employed by G.F. Mooney and Sons of Farmington for more than 40 years. Harding was a member of the First Congregational Church of Farmington and Winnipesaukee. Chapter of the Masonic Grand Lodge of Alton, N.H., for 63 years.

Surviving are his wife, Carolyn J. Call Harding of Rochester; a son, Gen. Stanley L. Harding of Arlington, three daughters, Mrs. Randolph H.

(Olive) West of Wells, Mrs. Harold H. (Elinor) Schulte of Fryeburg and Mrs. Vito R. (Dorothy) Barbara of Hingham, three stepchildren; 20 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; a nephew; and a niece.

Private committal services will be conducted in the spring at Grove Cemetery, Farmington. The France Funeral 29 Winter Sanford, is in charge of arrangements. Constance Hobbs Stagecoach Road, died Saturday at the H. D. Goodall Hospital, Sanford.

She was born in Newmarket, N.H., Oct. 26, 1901, daughter of Lewis and Georgia Huntoon George. Mrs. Hobbs was a 50-year member of the Order of Eastern Star Manchester, N.H., and was active in the Ancient Landmarks Society of Parsonsfield. Her husband, John Hobbs, died in 1980.

She is survived by a brother, Edson H. George of Manchester; and a sister, Grace M. Keane of Sarasota, Fla. Services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. he Dockendorff Home, Limerick, with the Rev.

George Ketcham of the Newfield Congregational Church officiating. Spring interment will be in Hobbs Hill Family Cemetery. Calling hours will be held tonight, from 7 to 9, at the funeral home. WEST Constance Hobbs, 79, of Everett Pelletier SOUTH BERWICK Everett Pelletier, 71, of 55 Berwick Road, died Saturday at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital, Dover, N.H. He was born in South Berwick, July 23, 1909, son of Henry and Clementine Poitras Pelletier.

Pelletier was a lifelong resident of this community. 'He retired in 1967 after 32 years of service as a welder at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Kittery. Pelletier was an Army veteran and a communicant of St. Michael He is survived by hiw wife, Myrtie Stevens Pelletier of South Berwick; three sons, Lloyd C. Pelletier and Howard E.

Pelletier, both of South Berwick, and Ronald A. Pelletier of West Palm Beach, a stepson, Robert Gould of Rochester, N.H.; a stepdaughter, Barbara. Lemay Barrington, N.H.; three brothers, Phillias Pelletier of Trenton, N.H., Wildre Pelletier of Berwick and Andre Pelletier of Sanford; three sisters, Mrs. Joseph (Mary) Michaud of South Berwick, Mrs. George (Alice) Michaud of Fort Myers, and Mrs.

Savage Donaghy, and was a graduate of Milford High School in 1896. Donaghy moved to Old Orchard Beach in 1940 and was a salesman most of his life. He was an Army veteran of World Warl. He had been the golf pro at the Black and White Country Club, Marlboro, for eight years and at the Ponte Vedra Country, Club, Jacksonville Beach, for the same number of years. His wife, Vera Donaghy, died in April 1976.

Donaghy is survived by a brother, Karl W. Donaghy of Hawaii; a sister, Ruth Hardy of Kittery Point; and nephews and nieces. Graveside services will be held in the spring at South Buxton Cemetery. The Cote Funeral Home, Beach Street, Saco, is in charge of arrangements. Clarence Davis KENNEBUNK Clarence W.

Davis, 70, died Sunday at his home on Western Avenue. He was born in Wells, April 13, 1910, son of Fred W. and Beatrice Bragdon Davis. Davis was a retired employee of the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Kittery, and the Maine Turnpike Authority where he was employed for more than 12 years. He also worked for the National Woodworking Co.

of West Kennebunk. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the Masons and the Knights of Pythias. Survivors are a son, Harold L. Davis of Cape Porpoise; five brothers, Gilbert Davis of Newbury, Roland Davis and Franklin Davis, both of Salisbury, Robert Davis of Merrimac, and Elmer Davis of Haverhill, four sisters, Augusta Mack, Virginia Davis and Mildred Mackie, all of Haverhill, and Eleanor Shepard of Merrimac; three granddaughters; and nephews and nieces. Services will be held Tuesday at 8 p.m.

Ida Brin SANFORD Ida G. Brin, 77, of 11 Washington died Saturday at Mid-Maine Medical Center, Waterville, following a short illness. She was born in Sanford, July 18, 1903, daughter of Joseph and Alexina Query Guay. Mrs. Brin had been employed at the former GoodallSanford textile mills.

She was a communicant of St. Ignatius Church. Her husband, Victor Brin, died in January 1966. She is survived by two sons, Rene Brin of Cherry Valley, N.Y., and Robert Brin of Sanford; a daughter, Theresa Brin of Augusta; a brother, Henry Guay Sanford; three sisters, Mrs. Albert (Laura) Gosselin of Sanford, Mrs.

Philip (Gabriell) Goulet of Winsted, and Marion Kilpatrick of Delray Beach, a grandchild; and nephews and nieces. A funeral will be held Tuesday at 9 a.m. at St. Ignatius Church. Spring interment will be in St.

She was born in South Brewer, July 23, 1902, daughter of John and Josephine Galland Arsenault. Mrs. Farrell was a retired employee of the former Sanford Mills. She was a communicant of St. Ignatius Church and a member of the Ladies of St.

Anne Sodality. Her husband, Telesphore (Tilley) Farrell died in March 1980. Mrs. Farrell is survived by two sons, Daniel Farrell, with whom she lived, and John Farrell of Sanford; three daughters. Geraldine Vennell of Sanford, Mrs.

Warren (Lorraine) Godfrey of Fullerton, N.Y., and Mrs. Raymona (Linda) Britt of Tinton Falls, two sisters, Alma Bisson of Sanford and Mrs. William Hayes of Rochester, N.H.; 17 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and nephews and nieces. A funeral mass will be held Wednesday at 9 a.m. at St.
