DiPietro and attended Portland schools Mr DiPietro owned and operated a television sales and repair business here and a video rental shop At age 7 he started singing and playing guitar with Tony Juanita and started his own band Little Joey and the Country Playboys in 1959 The band played at such places as Lakeland Morton's Pavil ion and The Brown Bag and did benefit perforriiances for groups such as the March of Dimes and the Muscular Dystrophy Associaiton for many years Mr DiPietro had his own band until becoming ill in 1984 Two years later he was inducted into the Maine Country Music
